Founder & Restorer + Restoration Coach
Sabra Johnson is the Founder, Restorer and CEO for The Restorations By Sabra Group, a collector and classic car restoration company committed to building world class rides and relationships. Sabra is always cultivating and coaching his technicians in the fine details of his signature 25 step build process. Sabra works with his project management team to organize the production work flows through big and small picture techniques. Sabra oversees projects at the tactical and strategic level of the build process. From the start to the finish of each build – he is there. Sabra works to ensure his brand runs at a level that exceeds customer expectations because Sabra understands it takes more than a pretty build to make automotive dreams a reality. From concept and design to build and the finished product, Sabra believes it is incredibly rewarding to build custom things from scratch using traditional tools and techniques that make cars faster, safer and more comfortable. As a leader in the aftermarket, Sabra is active at car shows, collector auctions, local car clubs, industry conventions and motorsport events. When he is not building cars, Sabra enjoys cruising down a back road in one of his classics, reading a good book, enjoying an occasional cigar, developing a new horse prospect, watching college football, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Carol is the Director of Project Development + GM for The Restorations By Sabra Group. Carol's primary role involves daily oversight of the complete production process and coordinating all activities to ensure the highest of standards are achieved on every project within the multisite build campus. Additionally, Carol works to help clients understand the technical particulars of the build process while providing extensive knowledge of the components and parts that make our restorations unique. The Director of Projects is responsible for overall management of the project including liaising with the builder; leading shop line managers through the 25 Step Process; supervising members of the project team; and overseeing project implementation. Carol directs the project plan as well as the project roadmap- the roadmap explains the why, who, and when, while the plan dives into the how. Carol works towards realizing the visions of the project in accord with client approvals within constraints of builder vision and client budget. Carol serves as the lead interior and upholstery design specialist and coordinates collector car acquisitions for the brand. Carol represents the brand interest in various Industry associations. Away from the Shop, Carol is an empty nester whom enjoys swimming, traveling, dancing, and cuddling with her fur-baby Cupid.
Director of Business Development + CXO
Matilda is the Director of Business Development for The Restorations By Sabra Group. First, Matilda will spend some time with you and your team to define the scope of the project. Matilda is actively exploring what motivates the owner to restore their car as she embraces the “story” behind the car. Matilda Identifies, develops and evaluates sales efforts with an eye towards expanding brand presence. Matilda leads cross-functional teams, manages existing partnerships, and evaluates all company restoration related business goals. Much of the day-to-day involves building relationships with customers, suppliers, staff distributors, partners, and vendors. All build project success is measured largely by the customer build experience which is managed by Matilda. Matilda also manages the lifestyle products division of the brand which includes Horsepower Ranch, Coachbuilders Transport, Rusty Bones Productions, Vintage Car Rentals, and the City Classic Cars Country Store.
Matilda is a mom of two lovely daughters and extremely close to her family. When Matilda is not at City Classic Cars she enjoys baking, collecting antique cookbooks, developing young horses, and visiting museums.
Shop Foreman + High Performance Lead
Ray is the Shop Foreman for The Restorations By Sabra Group. Ray is a front-line supervisor in the skilled trades of restoration and serves as our lead performance engineer: Ray plans, organizes and controls the operations of all shop locations; Ray supervises, trains and develops all mechanic staff; provides advice to management and staff; and performs hands on high performance work as a skilled automotive high performance technician. Ray anchors the Parts Procurement Office while serving as the commander and chief of the automotive pit crew. Ray oversees everything mechanical performed on the projects and make final performance decisions in preparing for a delivery.
Assembly Shop Lead + Mechanic Fabricator
John is a Mechanic Fabricator and the Lead Assembly Technician for The Restorations By Sabra Group. John as Mechanic Fabricator is responsible for adhering to an ever-demanding final assembly production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties which often include advanced wood fabrication and custom pneumatics and hydraulics on custom projects. John is the lead assembly technician caring for projects post paint through the end of the journey.
Antique Autobody & Paint Lead + Fabricator
Gordon is a body technician + fabricator for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The metal fabricators put metals through different processes, including machining, cutting, forming, and even welding in accord with custom build designs. Additionally, the Classic Car Fabricator + Antique Body tech restores the body of the vehicle, repair auto body issues, such as scratches and dents, replace windows and other external body elements, inspect vehicles to determine restoration needs, and research classic cars to ensure that repairs match how the vehicles looked through metal shaping, body shaping, and block sanding through Sabra's signature 25 step build process.
Upholstery Lead + Automotive Trimmer
Saul is the Upholsterer for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The interior team Upholsters automotive interiors through cutting, sewing and fitting specific materials of fabric, leather or plastic; glues tacks, staples or otherwise attaches fringe, tape, binding or other trim materials. Finishes or refinishes wooden interior parts by painting or varnishing as a part of the upholstery job. The Automotive upholsterers make, repair or replace upholstery, interior linings and trims of all kinds of modern exotics, classic and vintage vehicles. From time to time the Trim team may also work on special projects and the upholstery of boats and water craft, using appropriate waterproof or water resistant materials.
Lead European & Import Technician + Assembly
Micky is a Lead European Classic Car Specialist for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The Euro tech performs heavy line work, final assembly details and general maintenance and repairs on European classic automotive vehicles. The tech works to maintain or restore a vintage look and function. Micky restores mechanical systems, complete historical details and performs final assembly through Sabra's signature 25 step build process.
Sr. Chassis Fabricator + Metal Shop Lead
Willie is a Lead Chassis Fabricator for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The metal fabricators put metals through different processes, including machining, cutting, forming, and even welding in accord with custom build designs. Willie as Chassis Fabricator, is responsible for restoring, customizing and repairing the undercarriage of classic and custom vehicles, including the frame, suspension, steering, and braking systems. As a lead man, Willie works closely with the Shop Foreman and Director of Projects.
Chassis Fabricator + Disassembly Specialist
Zach is a Chassis Fabricator for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The metal fabricators put metals through different processes, including machining, cutting, forming, and even welding in accord with custom build designs. Zach as Chassis Fabricator, works closely with the Sr. Chassis Fabricator in the art of restoring, customizing and repairing the undercarriage of classic and custom vehicles, including the frame, suspension, steering, and braking systems. As a disassembly specialist, Zach is charged to strategically body panels and mechanical components in preparation of the restoration journey in accord with Sabra's signature tag, bag and label process. Occasionally provides field support to the transport team.
Collector Car Technician + Electrical Specialist
Donnie is a Classic Car Technician and wiring specialist for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The Collector Car Technician performs heavy line work, final assembly details and general maintenance and repairs on American classic automotive vehicles. The tech works to maintain or restore a vintage look and function. Donnie restores complete electrical systems, major mechanical systems, embrace historical details and performs custom work through Sabra's signature 25 step build process. Donnie also serves as the lead driver and field assistant on all vintage vehicle rentals.

Antique + Classic Car Painter
James is the Painter at City Classic Cars West. The classic car painter applies paint and other coatings to the exteriors and interiors of vehicles using various tools and techniques, including spray guns, brushes and airbrushes. In addition to painting, James also prepares the surface of antique vehicles by sanding, cleaning and masking off areas for precise application.
Heavy Line Technician + Engine Assembly
David is a Assembly Technician for The Restorations By Sabra Group. As a heavy line technician, David diagnoses engine problems and make the appropriate repairs. The Heavy line tech performs major engine, transmission and other system overhauls and repairs. The tech ensures the performance and safety of fuel lines, brakes, and other systems while supporting the final assembly team.
Facilities Maintenance | Restoration helper

Accounting Manager + Industry Outreach Liaison
Erica Garcia is the Project Accounting Manager for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the restoration project as it advances through the 25 step process. Erica provides financial and administrative oversight, reporting, monitoring and evaluation of the project. Erica analyzes and approves outgoing expenses, strategic invoicing and collecting payments from clients and working with the project management team. The Project accounting coordinator provides technical status updates to all projects in the build process. The accounting manager also manages the cost of goods within the build process which include parts and people resources. While the project manager focuses on allocating resources and facilitating transactions for project needs, the project finance coordinator is in the background making sure the project stays within budget and clients are updated in a timely manner. Erica also coordinates special industry and community projects on behalf of the builder/CEO and his work through the Urban Aftermarket Council of the Americas (The UAC). The Industry growth and outreach liaison is responsible for outreach functions including volunteer engagement, community partnerships, communications and outreach, and presence at industry events.
Special Assistant to GM + Future Car Builder
Anna Johnson works in the family business in the area of craftsmanship and shop production. Anna is learning how to administrate the build process through working with the Shop GM. When Anna is not in elementary school or riding horses, she is active in the City Classic Cars Shop.

Project Administrator + Finishing Support Specialist
This person is the Project Administrator and Finishing Support Specialist for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The project administrator is responsible for various administrative duties surrounding project restoration. These duties include detailed documentation, meeting management, handling the project supply chain, and using time management skills to help the finishing team stay on track. The Finishing Support Specialist leads the "priority" and "flow" aspects of the final stages of the automotive restoration process on behalf of the builder. The Finishing Support Specialist assist clients throughout the final stages of the build process, helping them resolve any concerns or questions they may have while processing, tracking and coordination the steps necessary to ensure the builds are completed according to the project SO. The Finishing support specialist helps the PMO implement build processes and efficiencies through the tech accountability process. She manages the parts life cycle, inventory pars, new parts intake all while applying the priority of projects flow matrix to ensure timely completions. The project administrator manages the PO and SO aspects of the 25 Step build process with an emphasis on the finishing phase.
Project Brand Manager + Technical Illustrator
Jarel is the Project Brand Manager and the Technical Illustrator. Jarel's primarily project task is to create and manage the digital "project roadmap" which is a basic visual representation of what is expected to happen during the restoration project, and when. Jarel develops and manages the overall online cyber experience showcasing the work of Sabra Johnson and his unique car builder lifestyle- Jarel gets you up and close to the builder. The Information Technology Specialist also serves as the technical expert for the web development, implementation, management, and support of systems and networks. Jarel helps clients see and understand the SOV (scale of value) through charts, graphs and other illustrators as well as provides a digital 5 week outlook for all Full Restorations by Sabra. As Brand host, Jarel is the lead creator behind the "Sabra Experience" which is an interactive look into the mind, philosophy and style of Sabra Johnson and his featured builds. As Brand manager, Jarel manages the web presence of the brand. Jarel is responsible for understanding what makes our target audience connect, and for developing marketing campaigns that position our brand presence according to those motivators.
Build Coordinator + Social Engagement Specialist
Jerra is the Build Project Coordinator for The Restorations By Sabra Group. Jerra's primary project function is to manage the "project plan' through forecasting the project in a digestible timeline format that will keep all project stakeholders on the same page through task assignment and other markers. The project coordinator manages the project book of business to ensure success for all project major stakeholders. The project coordinator documents the visionary decisions, develops the project idea and determines the project task. Jerra monitors project progress, sets deadlines, solves administrative issues that arise, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluates project performance, including the performance of the team members. The Project Coordinator works closely with the project director when planning projects, such as choosing which team members to assign to certain tasks and evaluating said performance. Manages the master build production calendar to ensure workflow meets required deadlines. As social engagement specialist, Jerra is responsible for understanding what makes our social network connect, and for developing marketing campaigns that position our build projects as emotive experiences socially.
Merch Store Coordinator + Future Car Builder
Julia Johnson works in the family business in the area of business development and business administration. Julia is the store manager and online sales leader for the CCC Country Store which houses Merch. When Julia is not working at the City Classic Cars Country Store and Rental Division, she attends high school at Magnolia West and enjoying the equestrian life.
Special Projects Coordinator + Online Product Sales
Ileana is the Special Projects Coordinator for The Restorations By Sabra Group. The special projects coordinator is in charge of managing and overseeing the special projects of brand. These projects are lifestyle concepts and digital products designed to heighten the client experience while allowing everyone the opportunity to participate in the collector car lifestyle. The special project coordinator primary role is to create, cultivate and manage an online client portal system... and secondly, develop a major international online "Merch Presence" that allows fans, clients and the car community to acquire swag products often hand selected by Sabra Johnson. Additionally the special products coordinator is responsible for creating uniquely engaging digital products that document the work in progress of various builds through picture and video special creations with emphasis across the cyber storefront. Illy operates with expertise in the areas of marketing, technical writing, networking, and content curation. Iliana manages the collector car sales barn. Additionally, Illy serves as the Project administrator in regards to various administrative task surrounding the client experience with special gift packaging for clients around the world. Illy documents the project from Step 1 of the restoration process through Step 25- Final Delivery. Illy serves as a Social Media Strategist with the goal to increase the reach and engagement of our international target audience.
Paint & Body Combo Technician
Jamie is the Combo Painter at Restorations by Sabra. The paint and body combo technician manages a variety of responsibilities on vintage, classic and special interest vehicles from start to finish. The combo tech uses welding machines to replace parts, refinish vehicles to prepare them for painting, perform fiberglass body repair work, and paints the collector car vehicles as well as finish them through Sabra's signature classic car refinishing process.
